"Seonaid Presents..."

We are delighted to be hosting “SEONAID PRESENTS...” an exhibition of paintings by artist, Seonaid Clarke.  Seonaid is also presenting work from her photographer husband Ben Clarke and paintings by fellow Western Isles artist Margaret Maclean.   Seonaid has presented us with a wonderful collection of paintings and prints for this exhibition which includes beautiful portraiture work, textile designs and atmospheric landscapes inspired by her native Western Isles and Aberdeenshire where she now lives and works.  Part of the exhibition shows a special collection of work where Seonaid has eschewed traditional materials and has used Harris Tweed as the canvas for her landscapes. 
Ben’s photographic work includes bright and bold macros of flowers printed on canvas together with stunning black and white images depicting nature at its very best.  Margaret, meanwhile has used musical instruments and horses in harness as her inspiration for her lovely oil paintings.
